In memory of Sheila Byrne

In Memory of Sheila Byrne.

1953 - 2021

Sheila Byrne RIP

Sheila was born in 1953 to Joe and Eileen Moore from Bleary and was a sister of Jim, Pauline, Dominic, Noreen and Barry.

She met her husband Vincent as a young teenager and courted for a few years before marrying at the young age of 19. They had 4 children , Stephen, Linda, Deborah and Shane. They raised their family in Gilford then moved to Bleary when the children were small.

Sheila was a proud woman and lived for her home always cleaning and making sure everything had a place. She took great pride in her appearance and wore nothing but the best.

Unfortunately Sheila suffered a serious road accident at the age of 40 and was critically ill for quite some time. Thankfully,  with months of rehabilitation and the help and care of her family she slowly recovered.

Although she learned to do the things she loved again it was never quite the same. She couldn’t manage the way she used to and was sadly diagnosed with dementia some time later. She moved into a nursing home in Portadown before moving to  Aughnacloy House in Lurgan where she was cared for their by the dedicated staff and carers until her death last Friday.

Sheila had a hard life with illness but  now she is at peace.

She was a great mother and grandmother and she will be sorely missed by all her family and those who loved her.
