Congratulations to Seán Farrell who has been invited to begin studying for the Permanent Diaconate by Archbishop Eamon Martin.

Prayers are requested for Seán as he embarks on his formation journey towards the Permanent Diaconate.

Seán is the chair of our Pastoral Council after having moved to our parish four years ago with his wife Karen and daughter Aoife.  His background is largely in Youth Ministry having served the church at home in England, abroad in the USA, and continuing since moving to Ireland.

Seán will start his studies in September. This three year programme of study, alongside Pastoral Placements, is designed to equip men for the ministry of Deacon which is a ministry of service within the church dating as far back as the Apostles.
